Brown Trout

While Argos, Indiana isn't exactly known as a brown trout mecca, determined anglers can find opportunities in the surrounding freshwater systems. Brown trout aren't native to this region, so any you encounter are likely the result of stocking efforts in connected rivers or streams. Don't expect trophy-sized browns; most will be in the 10-16 inch range, but the challenge of finding them in this unexpected location is part of the appeal.
