Corn, dough balls, and boilies are all effective baits. Try pre-baiting a spot for a few days before fishing to attract the carp. Focus on areas with overhanging vegetation or submerged logs. Access to the river can be found near the Highway 90 bridge, but always respect private property boundaries. Be prepared for a good fight, as these carp can grow to impressive sizes.
