Carp

Carp fishing near Haralson, Georgia, provides a unique and often overlooked angling opportunity. While not traditionally targeted by all anglers, the local rivers and ponds hold some surprisingly large carp. The Little Tallapoosa River, in particular, offers good carp habitat. Spring and summer are the best times to target them, as the water warms and they become more active.
