Pre-baiting your chosen spot for a few days beforehand with corn or boilies can significantly increase your chances of success. A local tip: Focus on areas near submerged timber or weed beds, as carp use these as cover. Also, be mindful of water levels in the Hatchie, as it can fluctuate rapidly after heavy rains. Access to the river is available at several bridge crossings, but always respect private property.
