Focus your efforts in the spring when the water temperatures rise and crappie move into the shallows to spawn. Look for them around submerged timber, brush piles, and weed beds, particularly in the coves and backwaters of the reservoir. Small jigs and minnows fished under a bobber are effective presentations.
