Largemouth Bass

If you're heading to Molena, Georgia, for largemouth bass, you're in for some classic Southern pond and small lake fishing. This area is dotted with numerous private and public ponds, as well as access to the Flint River. Spring and fall are prime times, with the bass actively feeding in the shallows as water temperatures moderate. During the spring spawn, target shallow, weedy areas with soft plastics or spinnerbaits. In the fall, focus on points and drop-offs with crankbaits and Carolina rigs.
