Smallmouth Bass

Smallmouth bass fishing near Applegate, Michigan, centers around the shoreline of Lake Huron and the lower reaches of the rivers that flow into it. While the big lake can be challenging, the nearshore areas and river mouths can hold some impressive smallies. Look for rocky structures, piers, and submerged timber.
