Size Limit:18-24 inch slot limit, except in the tidal Potomac River where the slot limit is 20-26 inches

Possession of striped bass or hybrid striped bass is prohibited on Gaston Lake and its tributaries from April 1 through May 31. Check local advisories for specific water bodies.

Tuna
Season:Year-round
Bag Limit:3 per person per trip for bluefin tuna (with sub-limits based on size class); yellowfin, bigeye, and albacore tuna have a combined limit of 3 per person per trip.
Size Limit:Bluefin tuna have specific size restrictions that vary throughout the year. Consult current regulations.

Regulations for tuna fishing, especially bluefin, are subject to frequent in-season adjustments by NOAA Fisheries. Anglers must have an HMS permit and report catches.
