This scenic river, a designated National Wild and Scenic River, is stocked with brown trout, providing anglers with a chance to catch these beautiful fish in a pristine setting. The best time to target brown trout is during the cooler months, from late fall through early spring. During this time, the fish are more active and less pressured. Fly fishing is a popular method, with streamers and nymphs being effective choices. For spin fishing, try small spinners or spoons. Access to the Eleven Point River is available at several points along Highway 19. Be aware of special regulations, including catch-and-release zones, to help protect this valuable resource.
