Carp fishing near Bancroft, Nebraska, is excellent in the Elkhorn River and surrounding smaller lakes and ponds. The Elkhorn, in particular, holds a robust carp population that is often underfished. Focus on the slower, deeper sections of the river, especially near log jams and submerged vegetation.
