Chasing Cobia near Corpus Christi offers a thrilling angling experience, especially during their spring migration. These powerful fish follow schools of baitfish and often congregate around structures like buoys, channel markers, and even large rays. Sight fishing is a popular and effective technique – cruise the nearshore waters, particularly around the entrance to Corpus Christi Bay, and keep an eye out for the telltale dark shape of a Cobia near the surface.
