The South Cove County Park on Lake Keowee offers good boat ramp access and is a popular spot for crappie fishing. Keep in mind that these lakes can experience fluctuating water levels, so be sure to check conditions before you go. The crappie in this area are typically good-sized, with many fish exceeding a pound, and some reaching upwards of two pounds.
