Flathead Catfish

Tremont, Mississippi, provides a good base for chasing flathead catfish in the Tenn-Tom Waterway. This section of the river is known for its deep holes and abundant structure, which are prime habitat for these whiskered giants. Live bait is the name of the game here; bream, shad, or even small bullheads are all effective. Target areas near submerged timber, bridge pilings, or sharp bends in the river channel.
