Flounder

Flounder fishing near Moss Point, Mississippi, is a rewarding pursuit, especially if you know where to look. The shallow, muddy flats and grassy areas of the Pascagoula River delta and surrounding bayous are classic flounder territory. These fish are ambush predators, lying in wait for unsuspecting prey. A local trick is to focus on areas with slight current, as this concentrates baitfish and attracts flounder.
