Topwater lures, crankbaits, and soft plastics are all effective choices. A popular access point is the public boat ramp at the Magnolia River Park, offering easy access to the river and Weeks Bay. Be aware of the tidal influence, as it can significantly affect water levels and fish behavior. Local bass are known for their aggressive strikes, and the unique environment often produces fish with a darker coloration.
