Don't overlook Winnetka, Illinois, for Largemouth Bass fishing, especially if you're looking for convenient access to urban angling opportunities. While Lake Michigan itself isn't ideal for largemouth, the Skokie Lagoons, a series of interconnected waterways just west of Winnetka, offer surprisingly good bass fishing.
