Largemouth Bass

Pewee Valley, Kentucky, offers some surprisingly good largemouth bass fishing opportunities, primarily in smaller lakes and ponds dotted around the area. These smaller bodies of water often hold decent-sized bass due to less fishing pressure. Spring and fall are the most productive times, as the bass are actively feeding in shallower water. During the summer, target deeper areas and submerged structure. Try using plastic worms, crankbaits, or spinnerbaits. Access to these ponds is often limited to residents or requires permission from landowners, so be sure to research access options beforehand. Some local parks may offer public access to ponds.
