Largemouth Bass

Largemouth bass fishing near St. Mary, Kentucky, is centered around the numerous smaller lakes and ponds that dot the landscape. While there isn't a major reservoir nearby, these smaller bodies of water can hold some surprisingly large fish. Spring and fall are traditionally the best times to target bass, as they move into shallower water to spawn or feed aggressively before winter.
