Largemouth Bass

Largemouth bass fishing around Whitesburg, Kentucky, revolves around smaller impoundments and the headwaters of the Kentucky River. While you won't find massive reservoirs here, several smaller lakes and ponds offer surprisingly good fishing. Spring and fall are prime times, as the bass move shallow to spawn or feed before winter. Focus on areas with submerged vegetation, laydowns, and rocky points.
