Largemouth Bass

If you're targeting largemouth bass in the Ridgely, Maryland area, you're in for some classic Eastern Shore fishing. The Tuckahoe Creek and its impoundments, like Tuckahoe Lake, are your prime locations. These waters are known for their lily pads, submerged timber, and weedy shallows – ideal bass habitat. Spring and fall are generally the most productive times, as the bass are more active in the cooler water temperatures. During the spawn in spring, look for bedding bass in the shallows.
