Largemouth Bass

Hanover, Michigan, offers some excellent largemouth bass fishing in its many inland lakes and reservoirs. Lake LeAnn is a popular choice, known for its healthy bass population and diverse structure. The best time to target largemouth here is during the spring spawning season (late May-early June) when they move into shallower waters. Fall can also be productive as bass aggressively feed before winter. Try working weed edges with spinnerbaits or crankbaits. For bank access, the public access point on the north side of Lake LeAnn is a good starting point. Be aware that some lakes have horsepower restrictions, so check local regulations before launching a boat. Local anglers often find success fishing near lily pads and submerged timber, so focus your efforts in these areas.
