Head to nearby Lake Washington or Lake Sammamish for your best shot at hooking into some bucketmouths. These lakes offer a mix of submerged vegetation, docks, and rocky structure that largemouth bass love. The warmer months, from late spring through early fall, are the most productive. Focus on shallow water near lily pads and weed lines during the early morning and late evening hours. A Texas-rigged worm or a spinnerbait are classic largemouth lures that work well here.
