Northern Pike

Targeting northern pike near Beachwood, Ohio, presents a unique challenge, as they aren't as abundant as in some other parts of the state. However, some of the larger reservoirs and lakes in the region do hold populations of these toothy predators. Spring and early summer, after the spawn, are typically the best times to target pike, as they are actively feeding. Look for areas with weed beds, submerged timber, and shallow bays.
