Northern Pike

Targeting northern pike near Conesville, Ohio, offers a unique angling experience in the Muskingum River system. While not abundant, pike are present and provide an exciting challenge. Spring, just after ice-out, and fall, as water temperatures cool, are the most productive times. Pike often lurk near weed beds, fallen timber, and creek mouths, ambushing prey.
