Northern Pike

Targeting Northern Pike near Cygnet, Ohio, requires a bit of exploration and persistence. While not abundant, pike can be found in some of the larger reservoirs and slow-moving sections of the Portage River and its tributaries. Spring is a great time to target these ambush predators as they become more active after the ice melts and move into shallower weedy areas to spawn.
