Northern Pike

Targeting northern pike near Garfield Heights, Ohio, involves exploring the local Cuyahoga County Metroparks and their associated waterways. While not abundant, pike are present in some of the larger lakes and river systems, offering a unique angling opportunity close to the city. Look for them in areas with dense vegetation, submerged timber, and creek inlets. Spring, right after ice-out, and fall, as the water cools, are generally the best times to target pike.
