While not a renowned pike destination, the Allegheny Reservoir (also known as Kinzua Reservoir) is within reach and holds a decent population. Focus your efforts in the northern reaches of the reservoir, where submerged timber and weed beds provide ideal ambush points for pike. Spring and early summer, right after the ice melts, are prime times as pike move into shallower waters to spawn. Fall is also productive as they feed heavily before winter.
