Rainbow Trout

While Amesbury isn't a renowned trout destination, determined anglers can find rainbow trout in some of the local waterways. However, be aware that water levels can fluctuate, and the river can be quite shallow in some spots during the summer months. The rainbows here are primarily stockies, so don't expect trophy-sized fish, but they can provide a fun and accessible fishing experience close to town.
