Striped Bass

If you're chasing striped bass near Nicholson, Georgia, you'll want to focus your efforts on the nearby freshwater rivers and reservoirs known to hold these hard-fighting fish. While not directly in Nicholson, the Broad River and Lake Hartwell (a short drive) are your prime destinations. Lake Hartwell, in particular, is renowned for its striper population. Spring and fall are the most productive times, as the stripers move shallow to feed. During the warmer months, target deeper water near the dam or submerged structures.
