Walleye

While Arimo, Idaho, isn't necessarily known as a walleye hotspot, you can still find them in some of the nearby reservoirs and larger impoundments. While specific locations closer to Arimo may be limited, venturing a bit further to reservoirs in the region could prove successful. Spring and fall are the prime times to target walleye, as they move into shallower waters to spawn in the spring and feed heavily in the fall to prepare for winter. A local tip is to research water levels and clarity before heading out, as these factors can significantly impact walleye behavior.
