Walleye

If you're heading to Clemons, Iowa, in search of walleye, you'll want to focus your efforts on the nearby Iowa River. This stretch of the river provides excellent walleye habitat, especially where there are current breaks, rocky bottoms, and submerged timber. Spring and fall are prime times, as walleye move upstream to spawn or feed heavily before winter. Early morning and late evening hours often produce the best results.
