If you're looking for some exciting white bass action in northern Mississippi, Baldwyn is a great starting point. The area offers access to the upper reaches of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, where white bass congregate, especially during their spring spawning runs. Bay Springs Lake, a short drive north, is another prime location. The best time to target these fish is from late February through April, as they move upstream to spawn. Focus on areas with current, such as the tailwaters below dams or the mouths of feeder creeks.
