Channel Catfish

If you're hankering for some whiskerfish, Milford, Missouri, provides easy access to Truman Lake, a catfish haven. Channel catfish thrive in this large reservoir, offering anglers excellent opportunities for a tasty meal. While catfish can be caught year-round, the warmer months (late spring through summer) are generally the most productive. Look for catfish around submerged timber, creek channels, and rocky points.
