Crappie

Crappie fishing around Sylvania, Georgia, can be quite rewarding, particularly in the backwaters and oxbow lakes associated with the Ogeechee River. These areas provide the ideal habitat for crappie, with plenty of submerged structure and shallow, weedy areas. Spring is the peak season, as crappie move into the shallows to spawn.
