What makes this area special is the mix of natural river structure, canals, and marinas that create diverse habitat for bass. Spring is prime time, as bass move into the shallows to spawn. Focus on areas with submerged vegetation or docks. Fall is also productive as the fish feed heavily before winter. A local tip: try fishing the canals off the main river with weedless rigs, as they can hold surprisingly large bass. Elizabeth Park Marina is a good access point. Remember to check water levels, as they can fluctuate and impact fishing conditions. The bass here tend to be aggressive, so don't be afraid to use reaction baits like spinnerbaits or crankbaits.
