Largemouth Bass

Spring and fall are the peak seasons. During the spring pre-spawn, focus on shallow, weedy areas where bass are staging. In the fall, as the water cools, bass will be actively feeding before winter. Topwater lures, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits are effective choices during these times. During the summer, try fishing deeper with jigs or Texas-rigged worms. Many of these smaller bodies of water are easily accessible from shore, making them ideal for bank fishing.
