For Northern Pike near Otisville, Michigan, Holloway Reservoir and the connected Flint River offer excellent opportunities. This reservoir is known for its healthy pike population, with fish lurking in the weedy bays and along submerged structure. Spring is an exceptional time to target pike as they move into shallow areas to spawn. Large spinnerbaits, spoons, and crankbaits are all effective lures. For bank access, try fishing from the Holloway Reservoir County Park or along the Flint River downstream of the dam. If you're fishing from a boat, pay close attention to your electronics to locate weed edges and drop-offs, where pike often ambush their prey.
