Rainbow Trout

While Chilton isn't renowned for its rainbow trout fishing, determined anglers can find opportunities in some of the smaller, cooler streams that feed into the larger river systems. Access to these streams can be limited, so be sure to check public access points and respect private property. The rainbows in these smaller streams tend to be wild and wary, so stealth and a careful approach are key. Consider exploring the unnamed tributaries for a more secluded experience.
