The best time to target these rainbows is typically in the spring and fall when water temperatures are cooler. Focus your efforts near areas where the trout are stocked, as well as along weed edges and drop-offs. A local tip: use small spinners, spoons, or live bait such as worms or nightcrawlers. Also, be aware that the trout in Twin Lakes can be heavily pressured, so using lighter line and a stealthy approach can be beneficial. While the rainbow trout in Twin Lakes may not reach trophy sizes, they provide a fun and accessible fishing experience.
