White Bass

If you're chasing white bass in northern Arkansas, Blue Eye provides easy access to some exciting action on Table Rock Lake. Known for its clear waters and abundant baitfish, Table Rock is a white bass haven. Spring is the peak season, as the whites run up the lake's tributaries to spawn. During this time, look for them near creek mouths and rocky points. In the summer, they tend to school up in deeper water, chasing shad. A local tip: keep an eye out for birds diving on baitfish, as this often indicates a school of white bass below. Small crankbaits, spinners, and jigs are all effective lures. White bass fishing on Table Rock can be fast and furious, offering a great opportunity to catch a lot of fish in a short amount of time. Don't be surprised if you hook into a few hybrids (striped bass/white bass crossbreeds) as well!
