If you're looking for some fast-paced white bass action, Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake are worth a visit. Beaver Lake offers a robust white bass population that provides excellent fishing, especially during their spring spawning run. This usually occurs from March to May, when the fish move up the White River and its tributaries. Look for them around points, humps, and submerged structure. A local tip: use small jigs, spinners, or crankbaits to target these aggressive fish. Also, watch for schooling activity on the surface, as white bass often chase shad in open water. For boat access, the Prairie Creek Recreation Area offers a convenient boat ramp. The white bass in Beaver Lake are known for their schooling behavior, so once you find them, you can often catch multiple fish in a short amount of time. They may not be the biggest fish, but they put up a good fight and are great for beginners.
