Black Sea Bass

While not as widely known as other species, Black Sea Bass fishing off Wrightsville Beach can be quite productive. Bottom fishing with squid, cut bait, or jigs is the most effective method. A local tip: head out to some of the artificial reefs located a few miles offshore; these areas hold good numbers of Black Sea Bass.
