Giant Trevally (Ulua)

If you're after Giant Trevally, known locally as Ulua, around M C B H Kaneohe Bay, focus your efforts on the shallow reefs, rocky shorelines, and nearshore waters. These powerful fish are ambush predators, often lurking around structure to pounce on unsuspecting prey. Dawn and dusk are prime times to target Ulua, as they tend to be more active during these low-light periods.
