Largemouth Bass

Up in Houghton, Michigan, angling for largemouth bass means exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula's diverse freshwater habitats. While Lake Superior dominates the landscape, smaller inland lakes and rivers offer excellent bass fishing. The warmest months, from late June through August, are generally the most productive.
