Largemouth in this area aren't particularly picky, but spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and soft plastics are always reliable. A local tip: Belleville Lake can get busy with recreational boaters, especially on weekends. Consider fishing during the week or targeting less accessible areas along the river. Also, be aware that the Huron River can experience fluctuating water levels, so check conditions before you head out. A good option is to try drop-shotting in deeper pockets, especially during midday when the bass tend to hold tighter to cover.
