Northern Pike

Northern pike fishing around Klemme, Iowa, can be a rewarding experience for anglers willing to explore the local waters. While Klemme itself might not be famous for pike, the surrounding lakes and sloughs in Worth County hold populations of these toothy predators. Spring is prime time, just after ice-out, when pike are aggressively feeding in shallow, weedy bays. Look for areas with emerging vegetation and warmer water temperatures.
