Natural presentations are key – live mud minnows or finger mullet rigged on a Carolina rig are hard to beat. Don't be afraid to experiment with jig heads and soft plastics that mimic local forage. Water clarity matters; look for areas with good tidal flow but avoid excessively muddy water after heavy rains. A local tip: The ICW bridges are also productive spots, especially during tide changes.
